This rubber mount belongs to KTM's PowerParts range of elastic fastening elements, used to hold a component of the bike in a cushioned manner, isolating it from the vibrations of the assembly.
It is made entirely from rubber, a material that flexes and absorbs movement without losing its shape or its anchoring function over time. Its geometry includes a solid body with holes or recesses through which the fastening element passes, so the component stays retained while allowing a degree of cushioned movement.
The photograph shows a black part with a smooth, slightly flexible surface to the touch, a compact profile and through-holes that allow it to be fitted using screws or pins.
In use, this rubber mount reduces the transmission of vibration to the element it holds, helping it stay in position and suffer less fatigue from the constant movement of the assembly.
