The pillion heat protector is a component from the PowerParts range fitted to the section of the exhaust near the passenger footpeg, to prevent the passenger from feeling the heat given off by the exhaust system while riding.
It is a piece that complements the rider heat protector, designed to cover the section of the exhaust closest to the rear seat of the bike.
In the image, an elongated, slightly curved piece can be seen, with a matte finish and textured surface, with a curvature that fits the profile of the exhaust pipe it is fitted to.
Fitting it brings extra comfort to the passenger on long rides, reducing the heat felt in the feet and leg area while riding.
