The KTM Protection Plug is a small rubber cap designed to cover an electrical socket or connector on the bike when not in use, available within the PowerParts spares catalogue.
Made from flexible elastomer material, this protector fits by pressure onto the body of the socket, closing its opening against the entry of water, dust or mud while riding or when the bike is parked.
The photo shows a black rubber part, cylindrical in shape and small in size, with a lip that makes it easy to fit and remove by hand over the socket it covers.
Fitted in place, this protection plug prevents the build-up of dirt and moisture inside the connector, helping to keep it working correctly when it is used again.
