This clutch friction disc is an internal component of the motorcycle's clutch pack, intended for those needing to replace worn elements within the primary drive assembly. It is one of the discs that, alternated with the plain steel plates, make up the clutch stack responsible for transmitting drive from the engine to the gearbox.
As a friction disc, it rotates together with the clutch basket and transmits engine torque through frictional contact with the plain plates interleaved in the stack, until the action of the clutch lever separates them to allow gear changes.
The photo shows a circular disc with tabs distributed around its outer edge, which engage with the guides of the clutch basket, and a rough-textured friction surface visible on both faces.
As a replacement part, this disc restores the assembly's friction capacity when the original material shows wear, recovering proper drive transmission between the engine and the gearbox.
