This KTM noise reduction insert is a piece of damping material designed to reduce noise transmission at the point on the motorcycle where it is fitted, complementing the vehicle's other insulation elements.
It is supplied as a piece cut to a specific shape to fit its location, with one side intended to be fixed onto the corresponding surface and absorb the vibrations that generate noise.
The photograph shows a foam-like or fibrous piece of material, dark in color with a matte surface, with a contour cut to size that allows it to be fitted precisely into the intended space.
Once fitted in place, this insert helps attenuate the noise transmitted from the area where it is installed, providing an additional point of acoustic insulation for the motorcycle.
