This KTM threaded plug is a small closing element within the PowerParts range, designed to seal a filler, bleed or access hole in the engine or another component of the bike when the original has been damaged or has lost its seal.
It is a part with a cylindrical body and machined external thread, which is inserted and tightened directly into the corresponding housing, closing off the passage of air, oil or another fluid depending on the point where it is installed.
The photo shows a plug with a metal finish, with the thread visible all around its perimeter and a head with a tool fitting that makes tightening and removal easier during maintenance.
With this threaded plug, reference 60038033050, the airtight seal at its installation point is restored, preventing fluid loss or the entry of contaminants while the bike is running.
