This magnetic drain bolt is the replacement part for the sump plug or oil cover on your KTM, intended for anyone carrying out an oil and filter change at home or in the workshop. It belongs to the engine fasteners and spares range, with reference M6x35 and an ISA30 imprint on the head.
It is an M6 metric bolt, 35 mm long, with a built-in magnet at the tip. The magnet collects the metal particles generated by internal engine wear that remain suspended in the oil, preventing them from recirculating through the lubrication system at the next start-up.
In the image you can make out a bolt with an ISA30 head imprint, a metric threaded shaft and a tip housing the magnet, in a metallic finish typical of a brand-new part, with no signs of wear or corrosion.
Fitted into the drain hole, this bolt seals the sump with the correct torque and, thanks to its magnet, provides extra oil cleanliness at every service interval, useful at every oil change.
