This rear hub is the central part of the rear wheel on KTM motorcycles, the element that houses the axle and distributes the spokes towards the rim, within the wheel spare parts category. It is the reference part to consider when repairing or rebuilding the complete rear wheel.
It is made from a machined metal piece, with the perimeter holes arranged for anchoring the spokes and the central housing for the bearing and the wheel axle, plus the fixing points needed for the brake disc and the transmission system.
The photograph shows a cylindrical body with perforated side flanges arranged radially, finished in matte black, with the machined surface visible at the contact areas and the recesses corresponding to the mounting points for the other wheel components.
As a structural part, this hub supports the spoke set and transmits the wheel's rotation to the transmission system, serving as the reference point for keeping the rear wheel centred and properly tensioned after respoking or a repair.
