This KTM link is the closing piece of the timing chain, the element that allows the two ends of the chain to be joined once cut to the required length, part of the PowerParts engine spares catalogue.
It is a small metal component made up of the link itself, its side plates and the connecting pins, designed to close the chain with the same strength as the rest of the links and to withstand the running speed and tension typical of the timing system.
