This bleeder screw is the small hollow screw that allows air to be bled from the brake or clutch hydraulic circuit, a routine task when servicing these systems. Within KTM's range of brake and clutch spare parts, this part is fitted to the caliper, the master cylinder or the hose, at the highest point of the circuit to make it easier for air to escape.
It is a screw with a hexagonal head and an internal passage connecting the outside to the fluid circuit, so that, when loosened slightly with the appropriate wrench, it lets air escape along with a small amount of fluid during bleeding. It usually has a rubber cap that protects the outlet when not in use.

Having a bleeder screw in good condition is essential for properly bleeding the circuit and restoring a firm brake or clutch lever, free of air inside.
