The anti-hopping spring washer is part of KTM's anti-hopping clutch system, a spare part aimed at anyone maintaining or repairing the clutch assembly of their bike, within the PowerParts clutch spares range. Its function is to provide the preload needed by the mechanism that limits rear wheel hop during hard downshifts or abrupt deceleration.
It is a washer with a wavy or spring-like shape, built to work under compression within the clutch pack, maintaining constant pressure on the rest of the anti-hopping system components without losing its shape over time.
