The D3O KTM Viper Air Back Protector is a full-coverage protector designed for both male and female riders, within the Powerwear range of functional protection, built to provide maximum coverage of the back area.
Its 100% polyurethane construction incorporates bio-based materials, reducing the product's CO2 footprint without compromising performance. Compared to previous versions, weight has been reduced by 22%, and airflow is optimised through channels that reduce the surface area in direct contact with the back, improving thermoregulation. The result is a protector with greater durability and flexibility.
The photo shows an orange piece with a segmented structure, articulated across several panels that follow the curvature of the spine, with perforations and channels visible throughout the surface corresponding to the ventilation system. The finish is matte and the ergonomic profile follows the shape of the torso.
In use, this back protector provides full coverage against impacts, maintaining breathability thanks to its optimised airflow and reducing the feeling of heat build-up on the back during long riding sessions.
