This children's elbow protector from the PowerWear range is designed to absorb impacts on the elbow joint during youth motocross riding.
Its construction is based mainly on TPR, together with ethylene vinyl acetate, polyester and polyurethane, combined in lightweight asymmetric panels with padded profiles on the upper part. The panels are ventilated and edged with 3D mesh, with perforated ventilation zones that improve breathability. Closure is achieved with a Dual Strap Velcro system, allowing the elbow protector to be put on and taken off quickly and easily. Its three-dimensional shape and ergonomic construction have been developed specifically for youth anatomy, in a design created by Alpinestars for KTM.
The photo shows an elbow protector in orange and black, with a perforated rigid panel over the elbow and textile adjustment bands at the ends, combining hard protective areas with more flexible parts so as not to limit arm movement.
With this construction, the elbow protector provides impact absorption on the elbow, ventilation thanks to its perforations and mesh, and a quick fit via the double Velcro, designed to accompany the growth and natural movement of a young rider.
