This Factory engine and linkage protector is a PowerParts component designed for riders who want to protect both the engine case and the swingarm linkage area during intensive off-road use.
It combines carbon and high-quality plastic using two-component injection moulding technology, allowing a design that fits precisely over the engine case and extends coverage to the linkage system, an area particularly exposed to impacts from stones and terrain obstacles. The assembly is extremely light and extremely strong, with the premium finish befitting the Factory line.
The photo shows the black carbon fibre finish, with its characteristic weave on display, and a shape that covers the engine case and extends down towards the lower part of the chassis where the linkage system sits.
In use, this protector prevents damage to the chassis and engine as well as to the linkage system itself, two critical points when facing impacts during the most demanding off-road riding.
