This clutch cover protector, from the PowerParts range, fits over the original outer clutch cover to prevent stone and gravel impacts thrown up while riding from damaging its surface.
Made from rugged plastic, it absorbs localised knocks so that the impact energy does not reach the clutch cover directly. It also acts as a barrier in the event of a fall, preventing the brake lever from pressing on the cover and causing cracks or breakage. It carries HOMNN_EU approval.
The photo shows a part moulded in electronic orange, with a smooth finish and a curved shape that matches the outer profile of the clutch cover, incorporating the fixing points for direct installation.
In use, it protects an engine component that is commonly exposed in side falls and on loose stone terrain, helping to avoid repairs or replacements caused by a direct hit.
