This exhaust header, the KTM FMF Megabomb Header, is designed for those who compete in motocross and enduro and want to get more out of the stock engine. It is the primary pipe of the exhaust system, a key component before reaching the silencer, and is fitted as a replacement for the original header.
Its line has been optimally tuned to the stock engine, reducing flow losses along the path of the exhaust gases. It features an integrated resonance chamber that better distributes torque while reducing the noise generated, and the whole piece is built from high-quality titanium, with top-quality finishes on welds and bends. It carries CCCUO_EU approval.
The photo shows the characteristic metallic finish of titanium, silvery in tone with slightly golden reflections, and a run of pronounced bends leading to the widened section corresponding to the resonance chamber. The welds are visible and precisely executed, retaining the stock mounting flanges.
In use, it delivers a noticeable power increase across the entire rev range, with a more progressive engine response. It is a component also used by factory racing teams.
