This KTM Wave brake disc for the rear axle combines light weight and durability in a replacement part designed for motorcycles used both on the road and on track. With a diameter of 240 mm and CCCUO_EU approval, it is made from aluminium and stainless steel.
The high-performance stainless steel outer ring handles friction with the brake pads, while the aluminium inner body, with an anodized surface, reduces weight compared to a solid steel disc. This combination is aimed at delivering top-level consistent braking power together with perfect modulation with every application of the rear pedal.
The photograph shows the wave-shaped profile characteristic of the Wave series, with the black anodized inner ring contrasting with the silver tone of the stainless steel outer ring. The anodized finish gives the surface a refined look that resists wear.
