This KTM Wave rear brake disc, 230 mm in diameter, belongs to the PowerParts braking range and carries ABE approval to replace the original disc without affecting road-use warranty.
It is made from high-performance stainless steel for brakes, the material that forms the complete braking ring of the disc. This monobloc construction aims to deliver constant top-level braking power and very precise modulation with every pedal input.
The photo shows the characteristic wavy profile of the Wave design, with the outer edge cut out alternating solid and hollow sections, the natural silver finish typical of stainless steel, and the mounting holes machined in the centre for fitting to the wheel hub.
This disc delivers even, predictable rear braking, maintaining a consistent pedal feel thanks to the high-performance stainless steel used in the braking ring.
