This tyre valve is designed for bikes fitted with TPMS pressure sensors, allowing the tyre to be inflated and deflated without interfering with the sensor installed inside the rim.
As its name indicates, this is a 90-degree angled valve of 8.5 mm, specifically designed for smaller TPMS housings, which sets it apart from conventional straight valves and allows it to pass through rims with the sensor already fitted.
The photograph shows a small metal part with the body bent at a right angle and the threaded end for attaching the valve cap, with a finish suited to a component in continuous contact with pressurised air.
This valve provides inflation access on tyres fitted with a TPMS sensor, maintaining the seal required in the wheel-sensor-valve assembly.
