This DIN 912 screw, M6x45, is a fastener from the KTM PowerParts range, used at various fixing points on the motorcycle wherever the manufacturer specifies this size and standard. It is a commonly replaced part in maintenance tasks and when fitting fairings, brackets or chassis components.
It meets the DIN 912 standard, meaning a socket head cap screw with an Allen-type hex drive, made from steel. This head design allows the required tightening torque to be applied with an Allen key without damaging the finish of the surrounding part it is fitted to, which is common in visible areas of the bike.
