This KTM distance sleeve is a support part fitted between two bolted elements to maintain the exact mounting distance and prevent the fasteners from working against an unsupported gap. It is part of the PowerParts spares range aimed at mechanical maintenance of the bike.
It has a hollow cylindrical body, designed to house the bolt shank or shaft inside while transmitting the compression load between the two faces it separates. Its metal construction gives it the rigidity needed to avoid crushing under the usual tightening torque for this type of joint.
The photo shows a sleeve with a straight profile and a uniform metallic finish, with cleanly cut ends and no additional machining visible on the outer surface.
Once fitted in place, it prevents axial play and ensures the assembly stays firm and correctly aligned, also making it easier to replace when the component it accompanies is removed.
