The KTM rear wheel hub, reference A46010910044C1, is the part of the rear wheel assembly that sits between the rim hub and the bearing, within the PowerParts range, with the function of setting the axial position of the rear axle.
It is a cylindrical component machined to tight tolerances, fitting inside the wheel hub and around the rear axle, acting as a calibrated spacer between the bearings and the rest of the wheel assembly components.
The photograph shows a tubular metal part with a turned, uniform finish and ground ends that seat correctly against the bearing and the rest of the hub components.
As an original rear wheel hub, it ensures the wheel is correctly centered and that the bearing works under the intended preload, preventing axial play and premature wear of the assembly.
