This chain sprocket cover for KTM is the part that protects the output sprocket on the gearbox and the initial section of the drive chain, an area of the motorcycle exposed to stones, mud and impacts in off-road or enduro use.
It is a one-piece cover, made from impact-resistant plastic, with a shape that wraps around the sprocket and part of the swingarm, leaving the necessary mounting points to attach it firmly to the engine case without interfering with the chain's travel or access for maintenance.
The photo shows a matte black part, with reinforcing ribs on its surface and a curved shape that follows the contour of the sprocket, along with mounting holes distributed around its perimeter.
Fitted in position, it keeps dirt and debris thrown up from the terrain from reaching the sprocket and chain directly, helping both components to keep working with less premature wear.
