This exhaust pipe flange gasket is a sealing component included in KTM's PowerParts catalogue, used at the joint between the manifold or exhaust section and its mounting flange. It is a recommended replacement part whenever this area of the exhaust is removed.
Its function is to maintain the seal between the two metal surfaces joined by the flange, withstanding the high temperatures and the pressure of the gases generated by the engine, so that the exhaust assembly works without leaks or loss of pressure at that section.
