This Excel rim, 1.6x21", is the circular element that makes up the front wheel on KTM motorcycles, within the rims and wheel spare parts category. It is the part replaced when the original rim has suffered impacts or deformations, while the rest of the wheel remains intact.
Manufactured by Excel, it features the lightweight alloy construction typical of these narrow front wheel rims, with the central channel profile to house the tyre and the machined holes along the entire perimeter for the spokes to pass through.
The image shows a narrow-section rim, in keeping with its 1.6-inch width, with a silver anodised finish and a smooth, uniform surface, where the row of equally spaced holes and the perimeter bead are clearly visible, with no paint marks.
Being a standalone part, it is combined with the original hub and spoke set to rebuild the front wheel, restoring the roundness and precision needed for stable handling at the front end.
