This wheel bearing protection cap kit is designed for riders looking to extend the life of the front wheel bearings on enduro or cross outings where mud, sand and water are a constant. It fits on the side of the wheel hub, in front of the bearing, forming an extra barrier against dirt.
According to the manufacturer, its purpose is to reduce the entry of abrasive particles and moisture into the bearing, which lowers wear on the sealing rings and extends the service life of the assembly. It carries HOMNN_EU approval, is designed for front fitment and is made in black.
The photo shows a low-profile circular piece with a matte black finish, an outer rim that fits over the hub and a central opening for the wheel axle to pass through.
Fitted onto the hub, this cover acts as a first line of defence before dirt reaches the seals, helping keep the wheel running smoother and spacing out wheel bearing maintenance.
