The fork protector kit is the set of plastic pieces fitted onto the front fork legs to shield them from impacts of stones, mud and branches, a common replacement part in the maintenance of enduro and motocross bikes.
It is made of plastic, with HOMNN_EU approval certifying its status as an original part valid for homologated models, and comes in KTM's signature neptun blue, matching the rest of the bodywork in that same tone.
The image shows the pieces making up the kit, with their wraparound shape matched to the diameter of the fork legs, a smooth injection-moulded plastic surface and the mounting points corresponding to the securing clamps.
Fitting it protects the fork legs from wear caused by friction and the impacts typical of off-road use, extending their service life.
