This headlight protector from the PowerParts range covers the front light unit to shield it from stone chips, gravel, and other impacts typical of off-road use. Designed for riders who take their bike onto tracks, rallies, or demanding off-road routes, it adds a resistant barrier without altering the front end's original look.
It is made from clear PA12, a high-strength plastic material commonly used in parts that need to withstand impacts without losing optical clarity. The edge features a perimeter rim that stiffens the piece and keeps it firmly in place on the headlight, while the four mounting points with their own circular reinforcements ensure a stable fit. It comes supplied with the necessary screws and washers for fitting, along with a cable to complete the mounting set.
In the photo, a trapezoidal-shaped clear plastic piece is shown, shaped to match the headlight's contour, with four through-holes for the screws and an engraved reference and recycling mark at the bottom, barely visible due to the material's transparency. The finish is smooth and glossy, free of burrs, and the kit includes the Torx-head screws, white washers, and grey cable mentioned.
Fitting is straightforward, as it mounts directly onto the headlight using the original anchor points, and once installed it provides constant protection for the headlight against stone impacts without needing to be removed after every ride.
