This machined aluminium brake lever is designed to replace the original part with a lighter component of more refined finish, suitable both for everyday use and for those looking for greater resistance against falls or accidental impacts.
It is made from high-quality machined aluminium, with an anodized surface that gives it a uniform tone and protects against surface wear. It features adjustable span to tailor the brake lever travel to the rider's hand size, as well as adjustable lever length, so each rider can shorten or lengthen it according to their riding position. The articulated system allows the lever to fold back in the event of contact with the ground, preventing the typical breakage of a rigid lever after a low-speed fall.
The photo shows the characteristic orange and black two-tone finish of KTM, with the anodized aluminium body, the tip in orange and the pivot visible at the mounting point on the brake master cylinder.
In daily use, the combined span and length adjustment allows a more precise hand position, while the folding mechanism reduces the risk of damage to the lever after a fall.
