This aluminium side case, developed in collaboration with Touratech, is designed for riders seeking a rugged, long-lasting hard luggage system for long-distance travel. Part of the KTM Touratech case range, it mounts on the left side of the bike and offers a 45 l capacity.
The shell is made from high-strength aluminium with a thickness of 1.5 mm, finished with an anodized surface that gives it an elegant look and extra protection against corrosion. The corners feature fibreglass-reinforced plastic elements that absorb impacts, while the panel joints are riveted using a special process that holds them together permanently and keeps them watertight. The lid includes a silicone seal that keeps the interior dry even in heavy rain, and the case comes fitted with the lock cylinders and lid locking hooks. Total weight is 5.6 kg, and it carries EC-V approval.
The photo shows the black anodized finish, with a uniform matte texture, the straight lines typical of the aluminium shell, the integrated handle on top and the closing lever on the outer side, allowing fitting and locking in a single motion.
Thanks to its extremely robust, torsion-resistant construction, this case withstands use on demanding tracks and roads, keeping luggage protected and dry over multi-day trips.
