This floating case carrier kit from the PowerParts range is designed for riders who cover long distances on motorways and are looking for a more stable mounting of the side cases at higher speeds. It replaces or complements the usual rigid case-carrier mount with a floating-support system.
According to the manufacturer, this new floating-support case carrier system keeps the motorcycle more stable on motorway journeys, by absorbing part of the vibration and movement transmitted to the cases mounted on the carrier. It carries HOMNN_EU approval.
The photo shows the black metal arms and mounts that make up the floating support, with the connection points to the subframe and to the side cases clearly visible.
Fitted to the rear of the bike, this kit improves the behaviour of the bike-and-cases combination on long motorway trips, providing greater stability in the distribution of the side load while riding.
