The KTM fuel cap is a replacement part with an offroad look, designed to replace the original cap with a more durable piece while keeping the keyless refuelling typical of these systems.
It is machined from high-quality aluminium and finished with an anodized surface that provides greater surface hardness against impacts and scuffs than untreated aluminium. With no lock, the system allows the tank to be opened and closed extremely quickly, with no key required. It carries CCCUO_EU approval.
The photograph shows a compact circular part, with the body in black anodized aluminium and a uniform matte finish. The profile combines straight lines along the edge with a slightly recessed central area, a design reminiscent of fuel caps found on offroad motorcycles.
In use, it avoids having to handle keys at every refuelling stop, which is especially practical on off-tarmac outings where every second and every movement counts.
