This fuel cap replaces the original lock with a keyless system, designed for riders who need to refuel quickly in the pits or during a timed wheel change, without wasting time searching for the ignition key or fiddling with locks.
It is made from high-quality machined aluminium with an anodized surface finish that provides resistance against continuous use and exposure to fuel. Since it does away with any key-operated locking mechanism, the internal assembly is simplified, reducing potential failure points and speeding up opening and closing the tank at every refuel.
The photo shows a low-profile circular cap in matte black, with the anodized surface revealing the machined aluminium in fine concentric grooves. The actuating tab protrudes slightly to make it easy to grip with fingers or while wearing gloves.
