This KTM windshield is designed for the rider of the R version of the Adventure models who wants extra wind protection on long road stretches, taking the direct hit of air off the upper body.
It has a transparent finish, a height of 389 mm and EC-V approval, certifying it for use on public roads. It is the standard part designed specifically for the Adventure R configuration, with a profile calculated to follow the line of the headlight and instrument cluster.
The photo shows a smooth, fully transparent screen with a curved profile that extends above the front light unit without blocking the forward view or reducing light to the instrument cluster.
In use, it helps deflect airflow above the helmet and reduces the load on the rider's shoulders and chest, adding comfort on the long stages typical of touring on this kind of motorcycle.
