This inner fork cartridge from the Xplor Pro 6500 range replaces the standard cartridge in forks built for demanding enduro use, within the KTM PowerParts suspension range.
The manufacturer highlights its Closed Cartridge technology, fully adjustable with standard tools, with all spring preload, rebound and compression adjustments made externally, without needing to disassemble the fork. According to the manufacturer, it delivers better response, improved damping behaviour, greater bottoming resistance and individual settings for each rider and route, along with improved handling. It is handmade using top-quality materials, which the manufacturer states gives it extreme durability. The set includes the cartridge, a sticker, tools and a spring spacer; fork springs are purchased separately. It holds EC-V approval.
The photograph shows the cylindrical body of the cartridge with a metallic finish, with the adjusters visible at the top end and the WP logo engraved on the surface.
In use, this cartridge allows the front fork to be fine-tuned to each rider and terrain, improving control under hard braking and through the final part of the suspension travel.
