This KTM piston ring set is a specific replacement part for the rear shock piston, intended for those performing routine maintenance on the WP Pro-Components suspension. It is part of the PowerParts range of suspension and chassis components.
The ring consists of a steel band fitted onto the piston, in the same way it is assembled on the WP Pro-Components shocks themselves. This band extends the piston's service life and reduces internal friction along the shaft travel, which has a direct, positive effect on shock response. The material used is steel, and the set is approved under HOMNN_EU.
The photo shows the rings in an open-ring shape, with a thin cross-section and a polished metal surface, presented as supplied for fitting onto the piston.
Thanks to its design, the ring can be easily replaced during shock maintenance, helping to preserve the suspension's original response over its service life.
