This handlebar mount kit is the part required to fit the Factory steering damper onto the handlebar mount, within the steering spares range. It is necessary for anyone wanting to add this damper without modifying the rest of the steering assembly.
It is made from aluminium with an anodized finish and CCCUO_EU approval. It has a height of 36 mm, the dimension needed to leave the precise space where the Factory steering damper sits once fitted.
The photo shows an anodized aluminium block, noticeably taller than a conventional mount, with the machined features and holes for mounting the handlebar and the steering damper.
Thanks to this extra height, it allows the Factory steering damper to be fitted while keeping the steering geometry intact and without needing to modify other parts of the mount.
