This KTM shock spring is the component fitted onto the body of the rear shock absorber to support the vehicle's load and define the suspension travel, intended for replacement due to wear or for a different preload setting than the standard one.
It is built as a coil spring made of steel wire, wound with evenly pitched coils along its entire length, with ground ends for a flat, stable seat on the shock's upper and lower spring seats. The wire's surface treatment protects the part against corrosion during continued use.
