This KTM spring is a mechanical component from the PowerParts range used in return mechanisms, where a part needs to recover its original position after being actuated, through constant elastic force.
It is a helical spring made of steel wire, wound in regular coils with the ends shaped for anchoring, allowing it to be fitted between two fixed points and maintain the necessary tension during operation.
The photograph clearly shows the cylindrical shape of the spring, with a dark metallic finish and uniform coils along its entire length, displaying the retaining hooks at both ends for attachment to the structure.
