This KTM tyre pressure sensor is part of the monitoring system that tracks tyre condition in real time, an electronic component designed for riders who want constant pressure monitoring without having to check it manually. Within the PowerParts range, it is a direct replacement part for the bike's TPMS system.
It is a compact electronic unit that mounts directly onto the wheel valve, integrating the pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and the wireless transmission module that sends data to the bike's control unit. Its housing is sealed to withstand moisture, dust and the vibrations caused by wheel rotation.
The photo shows its small cylindrical body in metallic and black tones, with the valve-mounting thread at one end and the protected electronic housing at the other, a compact design that adds barely any weight to the wheel.
In operation, this sensor allows the instrument panel to display the actual pressure of each tyre and warn of any pressure loss, helping to detect a puncture or incorrect pressure before it affects the bike's handling.
