This gasket belongs to the PowerParts range of genuine KTM spare parts and is used in maintenance and repair work wherever a tight seal must be guaranteed between two mating surfaces on the engine or exhaust.
It is a flat gasket that sits between two bolted components, compensating for small irregularities in the contact surfaces and preventing gas or liquid from passing through the joint. Its geometry precisely reproduces the outline, the bolt holes and the passage of the original part, so it fits into place without any further adjustment.
The photo shows a thin, dark-coloured part with a central cutout that matches the passage it has to seal, along with a series of holes around the perimeter for the fixing elements.
Fitting this reference in place of the original gasket restores the seal of the assembly, preventing leaks and loss of pressure at the joint.
