This carbon endcap is the piece that finishes off the end of the exhaust system, fitting onto the mouth of the silencer to visually close off the assembly with a sporty finish. It belongs to the exhaust and styling section of the PowerParts range, aimed at those looking to replace the stock end piece with a lighter one.
It is made entirely of carbon, a material that combines low density with good mechanical and thermal resistance, which is especially useful for a part located right next to the exhaust gas outlet. The carbon fibre construction achieves a thin, rigid wall without the weight penalty of an equivalent metal endcap.
The photograph clearly shows the interwoven carbon fibre pattern, with its threads crossing in different orientations and a glossy surface finish that leaves the weave visible, with no paint covering it. The shape is cylindrical, matched to the exhaust outlet diameter.
Its main contribution is aesthetic and in weight saving: it replaces the usually metal stock endcap with a lighter part that also shows off the characteristic carbon weave at the end of the exhaust.
