This auxiliary wiring harness belongs to the KTM PowerParts range and takes care of the electrical connection for an additional headlight, designed for riders who want to add an extra light point to the bike without tampering with or cutting the original wiring. It is a wiring harness specifically designed for this purpose, so it avoids homemade splices and reduces the risk of electrical faults over time.
It is made from coated electrical cable, with connectors on both ends allowing a direct connector-to-connector splice onto the bike's electrical system. The terminals are protected with insulating sleeves, and heat-shrink coating can be seen at the joints, sealing the assembly against moisture and the vibrations typical of use on road or off-road.
In the photograph, a black wiring harness is visible, with several sections of different lengths joined together, plastic connectors of various sizes at the ends, and metal terminals visible at the open connections. The finish is simple and functional, with no decorative elements.
With this wiring harness, installing the auxiliary headlight is resolved in a tidy manner, connecting the new light to the bike's electrical circuit directly and without needing to adapt or modify the original harness.
