This KTM throttle cable is an original spare part designed to restore precise operation of the throttle grip, part of the PowerParts range of spares related to the engine's fuel and control system.
It consists of a braided metal core housed in a flexible sheath, with end fittings at both ends prepared for anchoring to the throttle grip and to the throttle body or carburettor, reproducing the length and routing of the originally fitted cable.
The photograph shows a long, flexible cable with a black sheath, and metal end fittings at its ends, one of them with the characteristic cylindrical nipple that hooks into the throttle grip pulley.
Replacing a frayed, seized or slack throttle cable with this original part restores smooth, precise throttle action, preventing jerks or uneven response when opening and closing the throttle.
