This protector vest from the PowerWear Essentials range is designed for road touring, in a women's and men's version, combining breathability with protection at the back and chest.

The back protector is multi-layer and carries CE level 2 certification, while the chest protector, also multi-layer, carries CE level 1 certification. It also incorporates an integrated lumbar belt with a double tensioner to secure the assembly to the body. The outer fabric combines polyester (86%) and spandex (14%), and the inner material is made up of polyester (91%) and spandex (9%), giving it elasticity and a close fit.

In the photograph the vest is shown in orange and black, with the protective plates marked at the back and chest and the lumbar belt visible in the lower area, over a breathable mesh fabric.

This construction provides certified protection at the points of greatest risk in the event of a fall, with a stable fit thanks to the double tensioner on the lumbar belt and good ventilation for long journeys.
