This ignition cover protector is part of the range of engine spares and protection for KTM, designed for riders who expose the bike to crashes on track or off-road use and want to prevent an impact from damaging the engine cover. Its design precisely reproduces the contour of the cover it is intended for, so it integrates without altering the lines of the engine.
It is made from machined aluminium with an orange anodized surface, a treatment that provides surface hardness and wear resistance. The part incorporates a ground-down area that acts as a sacrificial element: after an impact or a crash, that section can be replaced without needing to change the entire protector, reducing medium-term maintenance costs. It carries HOMNN_EU approval.
The photograph shows the characteristic orange KTM finish combined with black details, with a machined surface of uniform texture and edges that follow the silhouette of the engine cover.
In daily use, this protector acts as a first line of defence against impacts from stones, low-speed falls or scrapes, preventing damage to the original engine cover and extending its service life.
