This KTM fork protector kit belongs to the PowerParts range designed to shield the front fork legs from stone chips, branches and mud during track or off-road riding. It is the usual choice for anyone wanting to stop the chromed fork legs from picking up marks that could end up damaging the seals.
It is made from durable plastic, with HOMNN_EU approval, in a uniform matte black finish. Its wraparound shape follows the contour of the fork tubes, covering the area most exposed to impacts without interfering with suspension travel or steering movement.
The photo shows an elongated, curved piece with a smooth outer face and reinforcing ribs visible on the inside that add rigidity without extra weight. The black finish covers the whole surface evenly, with no graphics or decoration, so it can be fitted as is or combined with a graphics kit.
In daily use, this protector keeps dirt and stones thrown up by the front wheel from hitting the fork legs directly, reducing premature wear on the seals and helping keep the suspension working properly as the rides go by.
