This air filter lower section is the plastic base that closes off the airbox from below, a replacement part designed for anyone needing to replace this section after an impact or wear that affects the seal of the assembly. It is part of the bike's intake system.
Made of plastic, its bottom-facing orientation allows it to fit with the rest of the filter box at the lowest point of the assembly, an area usually exposed to stone strikes and mud splashes during off-road use. It includes the corresponding HOMNN_EU approval.
The image shows an elongated piece with a sturdy profile, in black, with a textured surface and reinforcing ribs matching the fixing points on the filter box. The matte finish helps conceal marks from use.
As a replacement part, this lower section restores the watertight seal of the filter box at its lowest point, protecting the filter element from dirt and water thrown up from the front wheel or the terrain.
