This crash bung kit for KTM is designed for riders who want to keep the fuel tank protected from impacts and scuffs in the event of a low-speed fall or tip-over. It is a PowerParts accessory designed for quick fitting onto the original bodywork, without altering the look of the bike.
The bungs are manufactured through plastic injection moulding, a process that delivers parts with precise geometry and uniform thickness, able to absorb the impact at the tank's contact point without transferring the full force to the bodywork. The result is a lightweight yet strong component, designed specifically for the side of the tank.
The photo shows a pair of low-profile pieces with a smooth surface and matte finish, with a contour that follows the line of the tank so it blends in without sticking out excessively.
