This stator cable protector is a dedicated protective part from KTM PowerParts, designed for riders who push their bike hard on track or on terrain where the risk of knocks and impacts to the underside of the engine is constant. It covers and protects the alternator cable routing against external damage.
It is made from premium-quality carbon, a material that combines strength with extremely low weight, with a matte surface finish. Fitting is straightforward, and the set includes all the fixing hardware needed for installation, with no additional parts required.
The photo shows the characteristic weave of the carbon fibres under the matte finish, with a part shaped to fit the cable routing and the area of the engine where it is installed.
In use, it protects the alternator cables from falls, kicked-up stones, branches and other debris that could strike that area of the engine while riding, particularly in off-road use.
